Teen Dham Yatra visits three (3) of Uttarakhand's Char Dhams. There are several reasons for this, including accessibility, a limited number of leaves, previous visits to one of the Dhams, and so on. Popular 3 Dham Yatra packages include the Yamunotri - Gangotri - Kedarnath Yatra and the Badrinath - Kedarnath - Gangotri Yatra, which last 7 to 10 days.
As Kedarnath Dham becomes less accessible due to ongoing construction or expensive helicopter tours, many tourists are choosing the Yamunotri-Gangotri-Badrinath Teen Dham Tour.
Because of their high elevation, all four Dhams are covered in thick layers of snow during the winter. The temples are closed during this time of year. The deities are relocated to neighboring villages, where prayers will continue for the next six months. Here you can find the opening and closing dates for Chardham, as well as detailed information about the Char Dham weather report.
